One of the most accomplished players in the history of Davis & Elkins College women’s soccer, Megan “Meg” Daft made an indelible mark on the program through her resilience, leadership, and excellence both on and off the field.
After suffering a torn ACL that sidelined her for much of her freshman season, Daft returned stronger than ever, earning All-Conference honors in each of her final three years. Her senior campaign in 2009 stood out as one of the finest in program history, as she collected First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Region, and Second Team All-American honors after tallying 10 goals and 6 assists.
A standout in the classroom as well, Daft graduated with a 3.7 GPA in Chemistry and was a two-time Academic All-American. She went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University in 2014.
Today, Daft serves as an antimicrobial stewardship-trained pharmacist at Davis Memorial Hospital, Vandalia Health. She remains active in athletics as a competitive cyclist and youth coach. In 2024, she was inducted into her high school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. She resides in Elkins with her husband, Craig, and their son, Sullivan.
