  • West Virginia’s Basketball Coach of the Year in 1952 
  • Greenville High School Athletic Director from 1973 through 1982. Retired in 1982 after 25 years in various athletic positions with the Greenville Waves 
  • Named Greenville Knights of Columbus Citizen of the Year 
  • Inducted into Greenville High School ‘s Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989
