Katie MacGregor made her mark as a dual sport standout at Davis & Elkins College, excelling in both soccer and skiing while demonstrating exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and athletic excellence.
On the soccer field, MacGregor was a standout performer and team leader, earning back-to-back First Team All-Conference, All-Region, and Academic All-American honors from 2005–2007. Her consistency and competitive drive helped elevate the program’s success and set a high standard for future student-athletes.
On the slopes, MacGregor was a four-time Allegheny Conference leader and one of the top regional competitors throughout her career. She captured conference championships in 2006 and 2007 and represented D&E at the national championships in 2006. Her excellence across both sports earned her recognition as D&E Female Athlete of the Year in 2006.
Following her time at D&E, MacGregor pursued a career in medicine, earning her M.D. and specializing in sports medicine. She served as Chief Medical Officer for the Canadian National Ski Team from 2015–2020 and accompanied the team as physician to the 2018 Winter Olympics. Through her professional and athletic pursuits, MacGregor continues to embody the values of excellence, leadership, and service that defined her Davis & Elkins career.
