DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES
  • Jamiyah Johnson has moved to 21st in program history with 1,034 points scored. She is just seven points away from passing Shelley Bolyard for 20th all-time in points scored.
  • Johnson has recorded a double-double in five of seven games this season for the Senators. She is converting 58% of her shots, ranking third nationally in rebounding (15.0) and tied for first nationally in offensive rebounds/game (6.0).
  • Another slow start put the Senators in an early hole last time out against AB. D&E trailed 31-16 after the first 10 minutes, compounding a struggle throughout the season. Entering the weekend, opponents have outscored the Senators 186-102 in the first quarter of games.
  • Lena Lee logged a career-high 26 minutes on Wednesday against AB, becoming more of a point guard presence for D&E as the game went along. She has score din every game this season, including an 11-point outing against West Virginia State on January 23.
  • After missing two games, Jessica Eadsforth-Yates posted 12 points and two steals against AB. She is tied with Amiah Banks for second on the team in scoring average (7.4). Eadsforth-Yates also leads the team with 16 assists, while Banks has a team-best 12 steals.
  • After a brief road swing, the Senators return home for three of their next four games, beginning Saturday.

SCOUTING NOTRE DAME COLLEGE
  • NDC enters as the top team in the MEC North Division with a 5-1 overall mark. The team's lone loss came to 12th-ranked Charleston (W.Va.) on January 16, but the Falcons answered with consecutive triumphs over Fairmont State and Frostburg State.
  • Jada Monroe (25.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 24 steals) and Marina Adachi (16.8 PPG, 2.2 RPG, .420 3PT%) lead the way for the Falcons. Monroe, fresh off the MEC Player of the Week award, is second in the country in scoring average.
  • Marina Adachi is the sister of Siena Adachi, who was one of the top players in the nation last season for the Falcons. Siena became just the second player in program history to earn All-American honors last season, ranking among the top in program history in most statistical categories.
  • Head coach Lauren Macer is in her fourth season at NDC, earning MEC Coach of the Year honors last season. She helped the Falcons to one of the top seasons in school history last year, posting a 26-5 record that included an appearance in the MEC Championship game.
