SERIES HISTORY
  • All-Time Series: Notre Dame (Ohio) leads 1-0
  • Last Meeting: December 12, 2019 – Notre Dame 70, Davis & Elkins 59 | Box Score | Recap
  • How It Happened: Davis & Elkins used a big third quarter in the scoring department to try and chip away, but could only trim the deficit to single digits late in a 70-59 home loss to Notre Dame (Ohio) last December inside the McDonnell Center.

DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES
  • Jamiyah Johnson leads the nation with 15.0 rebounds/game and is first in offensive rebounds/game (6.2) and double-doubles.
  • Across all NCAA divisions of both men's and women's basketball, only three players average 15 rebounds/game or better: Rah Rah Thompson of Albertus Magnus (16.1 – NCAA DIII WBB), Mike Rapoza of Anna Maria (15.5 – NCAA DIII MBB) and Johnson (15.0 – NCAA DII WBB).
  • Johnson and Sydney Nestor both recorded double-doubles in the first meeting of the season with the Falcons last December in Elkins. The duo has each started and played in all 21 games this season, the only two players on the squad to do so.
  • Last time out, Urbana doubled up the Senators in points off turnovers (14-7) points in the paint (48-28) in an 84-77 home defeat.
  • Rachel Bolyard poured in a career-high 16 points in just 17 minutes against Urbana, draining five three-pointers in the process. The stellar effort marked the third double-digit scoring game of her college career.
  • The Senators lead the MEC in the fewest fouls committed (344) and are fourth in free throw attempts (453).
  • Despite being in and out of the lineup the past few games, Jay Kilpatrick continues to lead the team in assists (41) and steals (23).

SCOUTING NOTRE DAME COLLEGE
  • Notre Dame is tied for first in the league with 18 overall wins, but third in the league standings with a 12-3 mark in conference play. The Falcons are one game behind Glenville State for second place in the MEC despite being swept by the Pioneers this season.
  • The Falcons got back on track with a convincing 100-58 road win against West Virginia Wesleyan last Wednesday. Jennifer Oduho dropped 26 points and was a perfect 11-for-11 from the floor in the victory.
  • Notre Dame is second in the conference with 73 blocks this season, led by Jessie Stout with 16 rejections, and third in the league with 221 steals this season.
  • NDC ranks second in the league and 21st nationally with a +5.95 turnover margin.
  • Seina Adachi leads the team in scoring average (18.1) and is eighth nationally in free-throw percentage (91.4).
