ELKINS, W.Va. – Coach Rachel Swartz's Senator basketball team makes the trip to Institute tonight to take on West Virginia State.  The two teams met a little over a week ago in the McDonnell Center with the Jackets squeaking out a 68-65 victory.

Dream Cherry leads Davis & Elkins.  Cherry is averaging 16.2 points per game.  Marissa Berlin averages a double-double on the season with 12.7ppg and 10.2 rebounds.  Peyton Mohler has been playing at a high level the last two weeks.  The last five games Mohler is scoring 19.8 ppg, on the year she averages 11.7 ppg and 5.8 rebounds.  Allie Taylor is coming off a season high 20 points this past Saturday vs Notre Dame College. 

West Virginia State is led by Charity Sears.  Sears averages 11.3 ppg followed by Destiny Fields 11.

D&E enters the contest 6-15 overall and 3-13 in the Mountain East Conference.

WV State is 15-5 overall and 11-4 in the MEC.

Tip-off is set for 5:30pm on Lester Raines Court.
