ELKINS, W.Va. – Coach
Rachel Swartz's Davis & Elkins women's basketball team returns home this Saturday afternoon playing host to Notre Dame College. The Senators have played well as of late taking West Virginia State to the wire this past Monday and defeating Alderson Broaddus Wednesday night.
Dream Cherry leads D&E in scoring. Cherry averages 16.7 points per game, which leads all Mountain East Conference freshman.
Marissa Berlin scores 12.7 and pulls down 10 rebounds a contest.
Peyton Mohler has been playing at a high level. The last four games Mohler is averaging 21.3ppg, on the year she averages 11.6 and 5.8 rebounds.
Notre Dame is led by Alana Ellis. Ellis averages 15.9 ppg followed by Lilee Carlson 11.4. Tamia Ridley leads the MEC in rebounding with an average of 12.6.
The Senators enter the contest 6-14 overall and 3-12 in the MEC.
NDC comes to Elkins 9-11 overall and 8-7 in the league.
Tip-off is set for 2:00pm inside the McDonnell Center.
