ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College women's basketball team closes out the home portion of their 2022 schedule Wednesday night inside the McDonnell Center hosting Frostburg State. The Senators need to win their final two games and hope for a Frostburg State loss vs Fairmont State on Saturday to qualify for the Mountain East Conference tournament next week in Wheeling.
Dream Cherry leads D&E in scoring with an average of 15.7 points per game.
Peyton Mohler has upped her season average to 12.7 ppg. Mohler also pulls down 6.2 rebounds per contest.
Marissa Berlin scores 12.4 ppg and grabs 10.1 boards followed by
Allie Taylor 9 ppg and 4.6 rebounds.
Maggie Sharp leads the Bobcats. Sharp averages 10.9 ppg followed by Morgan Dombroski 9.5.
D&E enters the contest 6-19 overall and 3-17 in the MEC.
Frostburg enters 5-21 overall and 4-16 in the league.
