ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College women's basketball team travels to Athens Saturday to battle Concord in a Mountain East Conference matchup.  D&E is coming off of a loss to Glenville State Wednesday night.  The Senators showed what they are capable of, playing with the best team in the MEC and one of the best teams in the country for most of the game.

Davis & Elkins is led by Dream Cherry.  Cherry scores 16.1 points per game.  Peyton Mohler is averaging 12.7 ppg and six rebounds.  Marissa Berlin averages a double-double with 12.5 ppg and 10.4 rebounds.  Allie Taylor scores 8.9 ppg.

The Mountain Lions are led by Riley Fitzwater's 17 ppg and 12.2 rebounds.  Maggie Guynn nets 11.4 ppg followed by Maddie Ratcliff 10 ppg.

D&E enters the contest 6-18 overall and 3-16 in the MEC.

Concord enters 18-9 overall and 11-8 in the league.

Tip-off is set for 2:00pm on Christie/Cox Court.
