ELKINS, W.Va. – The Senators got back on the right track at home against Concord winning in three straight sets.
Davis & Elkins, coming off a pair of tough road losses kicked off Homecoming weekend by rolling through three sets quickly against the visiting Mountain Lions 25-14, 25-17, and 25-19.
D&E's dominant performance saw only six total tied scores and four lead changes. They led nearly wire-to-wire in each of the three sets.
The Senators were led by Brilane Manchego's 35 assists and Clara Caralt's 14 digs. Macie Magallon's added 12 kills, while Jeanne Hassoun chipped in 3 aces and Katie Beth Caudill had 2 blocks.
D&E is now 9-7 overall and 2-2 in the Mountain East Conference. The Senators are 6-0 at home and welcome West Virginia Wesleyan to town on Tuesday evening at 7pm.
