ELKINS, W.Va. – On Senior Night, the Davis & Elkins College volleyball team dominated Salem University in a 3-0 sweep, honoring their four seniors with a decisive victory at the McDonnell Center. The Senators posted set scores of 25-16, 25-19, and 25-21, extending their record to 8-13 (4-9 MEC).
Senior Reanne Debose led the charge with 14 kills, while senior Haylie Marumoto notched 37 assists and eight digs. Davis & Elkins accumulated 13 service aces, seven of which came in the final set, showcasing their offensive prowess. Senior Gracjana Rozanska also contributed nine kills with a .538 hitting percentage.
With four games left in the season, the Senators sit one game behind West Virginia Wesleyan in the Mountain East Conference South Division standings. They face a crucial season finale against the Bobcats, potentially determining the division's final playoff spot.
