ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins College women's basketball team plays host to West Liberty Wednesday night inside the McDonnell Center.
West Liberty comes to Elkins riding a four-game win streak. The Hilltoppers are led in scoring by Corinne Thomas's 14.9 points per game followed by Bailee Smith 14.6. Veteran guard Audrey Tingle averages 13.7 points a night. Tingle is currently the fourth leading rebounder in the Mountain East Conference averaging 10.6 a night and is first in assists dishing out 6.7 a game.
The Senators are led by
Dream Cherry's 17.1 ppg followed by
Marissa Berlin 12.6,
Peyton Mohler 9.1, and
Allie Taylor 7.4. Berlin is third in the MEC in rebounding with an average of 10.7. Cherry's 17.1 ppg are a MEC freshman best.
West Liberty enters the contest 13-5 overall and 8-4 in the MEC.
D&E enters 4-12 overall and 1-10 in league play.
Tip-off is set for 5:30pm inside the McDonnell Center.
