ELKINS, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins head volleyball coach
Jordan Willis announced the 2021 schedule, with the regular season starting in early September.
The Senators will get back to a more traditional fall schedule after competing during the spring 2021 semester, going 9-3 overall in that stretch.
Davis & Elkins begins the season on the road, facing IUP in the opener on September 2. The Senators will compete in a pair of matches at the Fairmont State Volleyball Classic on September 4 before playing four more at the 2021 USI Invitational from September 10-11.
D&E heads to Erie for matchups with Shepherd, Edinboro and Mercyhurst to close out the early-season road stretch. The Senators, which went 7-0 inside the McDonnell Center during the spring season, open the home portion of the schedule on September 24 against Salem (W.Va.).
The Senators jump into Mountain East Conference (MEC) play on September 28, heading to Glenville State. D&E hosts several highly-anticipated conference matches, welcoming WV State on October 5, Frostburg State on October 12 and Fairmont State on October 15.
D&E hits the road for three straight, including a trip to face defending conference champion Wheeling on October 30. The Senators wrap up the regular season with a trip to WV State before hosting WV Wesleyan on November 12.
