Davis & Elkins continues its road stretch this week with a trip to Wheeling on Saturday afternoon, looking for its fifth straight victory and a season sweep of the Cardinals. Tipoff between the Senators and Cardinals is set for 2:00 PM. D&E battled back in the fourth quarter in a 71-69 win against West Liberty last time out after the game-winning layup from
Sydney Nestor with less than five seconds left in regulation, while Wheeling enters with two consecutive victories.

- How It Happened: Davis & Elkins used a balanced scoring effort to record its firth win of the season back in December against Wheeling. Jamiyah Johnson converted a layup for a five-point fourth quarter lead and D&E did not look back, stretching its advantage to nine for the final margin.
DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES
- Jamiyah Johnson leads the nation in rebounding (14.6 RPG), offensive rebounding (6.3 RPG) and is tied for the nation lead with 16 double-doubles. She also ranks seventh in the league in scoring average (19.5 PPG).
- Along with Johnson, Nestor is the only player to start in all 19 games this season for the Senators. She sits second on the team in scoring at 9.9 points/game and rebounding at 6.7 rebounds/game.
- As evidenced by the strong defense on the final possession against West Liberty, the Senators have not made things easy for their opponents of late. Over the last four games, D&E is surrendering an average of just 59.75 points game.
- D&E outrebounded its opponent by double digits for the for the 10th time this season, holding a 50-33 edge on the glass against West Liberty.

- Wheeling is fourth in the league in scoring defense, surrendering 72.9 points/game.
