  • Jamiyah Johnson leads the nation in rebounding (14.6 RPG), offensive rebounding (6.3 RPG) and is tied for the nation lead with 16 double-doubles. She also ranks seventh in the league in scoring average (19.5 PPG).
  • Along with Johnson, Nestor is the only player to start in all 19 games this season for the Senators. She sits second on the team in scoring at 9.9 points/game and rebounding at 6.7 rebounds/game.
  • As evidenced by the strong defense on the final possession against West Liberty, the Senators have not made things easy for their opponents of late. Over the last four games, D&E is surrendering an average of just 59.75 points game.
  • D&E outrebounded its opponent by double digits for the for the 10th time this season, holding a 50-33 edge on the glass against West Liberty.
  • Four players finished in double digits against Wheeling in the last meeting, with Johnson, Jay Kilpatrick and Jessica Eadsforth-Yates logging 14 points each.
  • As with most games at this juncture in the season, Saturday is an important one for the Senators as Wheeling sits just above them in the MEC standings. A win could move the Senators to around the seven range of the league and continue to create separation for the bottom third of the conference.
