  • Johnson's 31 points are the seventh most by a women's basketball player in the MEC this season.
  • Johnson is second in the league in rebounding at 12.1 rebounds/game. She is closing in on the 500-point and 500-rebound milestones for her career, entering the contest with 488 points and 429 rebounds.
  • D&E closed the gap to 76-74 with 3:34 left in regulation, but West Liberty answered back with a 9-2 surge to push its edge to 85-76.
  • Peyton Mohler has become a consistent presence in the Senators lineup, logging a starting assignment in each of the last three contests. She posted a career-high 15 points, her second game in double figures, last time out against the Hilltoppers along with six assists and three steals.
  • While turnovers continue to plague the Senators' inexperienced team this season, Davis & Elkins committed a season-low 14 against West Liberty on November 7.
  • Thursday kickstarts a quick stretch with two games in three days before the holiday break.
  • Jessica Eadsforth-Yates (10.0 PPG, 30.2% 3FG) has connected on multiple three-point field goals in each of the last three outings. She canned two against West Liberty and has scored 10+ points in four of the last six games.
