QUINCY, Ill. - The Davis & Elkins College Women's Soccer team will make its first ever NCAA Tournament postseason appearance today in the opening round of the 2016 Division II Women's Soccer Championship Tournament against McKendree at 2 p.m..
 
The Senators (10-9-0) earned automatic qualification into the NCAA Tournament by winning the 2016 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament Championship last weekend in Nashville, Tennessee, knocking off No.1 seed Trevecca Nazarene 2-0 before beating No.2 seed Ursuline 2-1 in the championship game.

D&E was announced as the No. 6 seed in the Midwest Regional and will play No. 3 seed McKendree University (16-4-1) in the first round this afternoon, with the winner advancing to the Second Round where No. 2 seed Truman State University awaits.
