Senators Recognized Among Nation’s Best in Helper Helper Rankings

ELKINS, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins College Athletics has been recognized for its commitment to community engagement, earning a No. 26 ranking among NCAA Division II institutions in the annual Helper Helper rankings.

Helper Helper, a leading platform that tracks and measures community service in collegiate athletics, highlighted the Senators' continued dedication to service, with multiple programs ranking among the nation's best in their respective sports.

In addition to the overall ranking, four Davis & Elkins teams placed in the top 10 in their sports for community service hours. The Senators' men's and women's swimming programs led the way, earning the No. 1 national ranking in swim and dive. The men's golf team secured a No. 3 ranking among top Division II men's programs, while men's lacrosse finished No. 9 in Division II.

Across all NCAA divisions, student-athletes logged a combined 637,205 hours of community service, generating an estimated economic impact of $23 million. The initiative also created 20,100 service opportunities and engaged 57,858 participants. Within Division II alone, student-athletes contributed 229,988 hours across 5,343 opportunities.

Helper Helper's rankings and certifications underscore the extraordinary efforts of Davis & Elkins student-athletes, coaches, and staff in fostering a culture of giving back. The College's athletics department continues to demonstrate that success in competition is matched by a strong commitment to service and community involvement.
