ELKINS, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins women's lacrosse placed six student-athletes on the All-Mountain East Conference teams for the 2026 season, highlighted by a First Team selection for junior defender Zoe Mackey.
The Senators finished the season 11-8 overall and 4-6 in MEC play, earning recognition across multiple positions for their individual performances.
Mackey, a junior from Morgantown, West Virginia, earned First Team All-MEC honors after starting all 18 games on defense. Battling through a midseason injury, she remained a key presence for the Senators, finishing with one goal and 11 assists. Mackey led the team with 57 ground balls while adding 21 caused turnovers and 63 draw controls.
Senior midfielder Izzie Sevila garnered Second Team All-MEC honors following a strong all-around season. The Herndon, Virginia native recorded 16 goals and 17 assists for 33 points, while placing 37 of her 48 shots on goal (.771). Sevila also contributed 27 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, and 10 draw controls.
Junior attacker Rylee Anderson, a Painesville, Ohio native, earned Second Team All-MEC recognition after leading the Senators in scoring. Anderson totaled 48 goals and 12 assists for 60 points, finishing with 104 shots and a .462 shooting percentage. She added 84 shots on goal (.808), along with 45 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
Redshirt junior defender Mackenzie Mullan was also named to the Second Team after anchoring the defensive unit. The Bel Air, Maryland native recorded two goals and three assists while leading the team with 39 caused turnovers and 68 draw controls. Mullan also collected 42 ground balls during the season.
Senior goalkeeper Megan Bauer of Wadsworth, Illinois, earned Honorable Mention All-MEC honors after recording 149 saves and a .489 save percentage across 782:30 minutes in goal. Bauer added 26 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers while picking up five wins in net.
Freshman attacker Savannah Quave was named to the All-Freshman Team following an impressive debut season. The Red Lion, Pennsylvania native finished second on the team in scoring with 38 goals and eight assists for 46 points. Quave posted a .543 shooting percentage and placed 58 of her 70 shots on goal (.829), while adding 33 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers in 18 games, including 13 starts.
Anderson led the Senators offensively this season, with Quave close behind, while Mullan paced the team in caused turnovers and draw controls. Mackey finished the year as the team leader in ground balls.
Davis & Elkins' six All-MEC selections reflect the program's continued growth and competitiveness within the conference during the 2026 campaign.
