BEDFORD, Pa. — The Davis & Elkins University men's golf team concluded its spring season with a ninth-place finish at the Bedford Springs Invitational, hosted by Pitt-Johnstown at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort on April 20–21.
The Senators finished 30-over-par as a team over the two-day event, placing ninth in a competitive field that featured several Mountain East Conference programs and regional opponents. Glenville State won the team title at 15-over, while West Liberty and West Chester tied for second at 16-over.
Davis & Elkins carded rounds of 355 and 356 for a two-day total of 711.
Lucio Pavicich led the Senators, finishing 19th overall at 5-over-par after rounds of 76 and 73. Pavicich opened with a first-round 76 before closing with a 73 in round two.
Leonardo Turra placed 32nd at 7-over-par, posting rounds of 76 and 75. Isaac Gregson finished 41st at 8-over-par with rounds of 77 and 75.
Luke Grilliot finished 51st at 10-over-par, shooting 76 in round one and 78 in round two. Hugo Mayorga placed 78th at 16-over-par after rounds of 81 and 79.
Wouter Vondeling, lead as an individual, tied for ninth overall at 3-over-par, shooting rounds of 74 and 73 to lead all Davis & Elkins participants.
Dillon Dunz also competed as an individual and finished 82nd at 17-over-par with rounds of 80 and 81.
The Bedford Springs Invitational marked the final competition of the 2025–26 spring season for Davis & Elkins.
The Senators will return to action in the fall.
