Davis & Elkins Men’s and Women’s Swimming Named Scholar All-America Teams

ELKINS, W.Va. — The Davis & Elkins College swimming programs have been recognized for their excellence in the classroom, as both the men's and women's teams were named to the 2025 Fall Team Scholar All-America list by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

The honor, presented by Fitter and Faster Swim Camps, is the highest academic distinction awarded by the CSCAA and recognizes programs that demonstrate outstanding achievement both in competition and in the classroom.

Davis & Elkins' men's team posted a 3.32 cumulative grade point average during the Fall 2025 semester, while the women's team recorded an impressive 3.50 GPA to earn the distinction. To qualify for Scholar All-America recognition, programs must achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Overall, 709 teams from 414 institutions across all collegiate levels — including NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and junior colleges — were honored, representing more than 16,000 student-athletes nationwide.

"The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional," CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany said in the organization's release. "These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom."

The recognition highlights the continued dedication of the Senators' swimming programs to academic success alongside their competitive efforts in the pool.
