Collin Meadows Returns to D&E as Assistant Swimming Coach

ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins College has announced the addition of Collin Meadows as assistant coach for the men's and women's swimming programs.

A 2016 graduate of D&E with a bachelor's degree in sports management and a minor in business, Meadows was a four-year member of the Senators swim team before joining the coaching staff in 2018. In his first stint with the program, he helped guide six teams to CSCAA Scholar All-America honors and coached multiple Mountain East Conference (MEC) relay and individual champions.

Meadows returns to Elkins after serving the past four seasons as head coach of the men's and women's swimming programs at West Virginia Wesleyan College. During his tenure, Wesleyan earned seven CSCAA Scholar All-America team honors, produced the MEC Freshman of the Year, an MEC individual champion, and numerous All-MEC performers.

In addition to his collegiate coaching, Meadows has led the Randolph County YMCA Swim Team for the past seven seasons, developing multiple athletes who have advanced to state championships, national qualifying meets, and NCAA Division I, II, and III programs.

"I am so excited to be collaborating with Collin again," said head coach Nikki Rose. "He has had other opportunities to showcase his coaching talent, but I am so grateful that he is choosing to come home. Collin has already made countless contributions to this swimming program since his graduation from D&E, and I look forward to our current team having opportunities to learn from Collin and work with him. Collin's hire will elevate our program."

Meadows brings a strong commitment to fostering both athletic and academic success, a balance that has been evident throughout his coaching career.
