ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins women's lacrosse standout Ari Hinton has been selected to compete in the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Senior All-Star Game, as announced by the organization this week. Hinton will represent the Senators on the Blue Team during the prestigious event.

The Division II Senior All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. on Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. Admission to the event is free of charge.

Hinton, a First Team All-Mountain East Conference (MEC) selection this season, turned in an impressive senior campaign. The attacker tallied 40 goals and 12 assists, finishing the year with a .392 shot percentage and establishing herself as one of the most dangerous offensive threats in the conference.

"There's no better way to finish her lustrous career than to be the first ever IWLCA DII Senior All-Star from Davis & Elkins College," said Head Coach David Pomeroy. "Proud does not explain the love and respect I have for Ari. As someone who could have left after our first year of growth, she didn't—she stuck through the hard times and persevered. Ending her career doing something no other D&E Senator has done before just makes sense for her."

Hinton's selection not only highlights her individual excellence but also marks a historic first for the D&E lacrosse program, reflecting the strides the team has made during her tenure.

The IWLCA Senior All-Star Games recognize the top graduating players in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III. Hinton's selection places her among the elite in Division II and highlights her exceptional contributions to the Davis & Elkins program.
