Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — Davis & Elkins women's basketball fell 88–48 to Lock Haven on Wednesday evening at Thomas Fieldhouse.
The Senators opened the game with early baskets from Briyanna Sapp and Jahniya Marion, but turnovers and second-chance points allowed the Bald Eagles to surge ahead 27–9 after the first quarter. Lock Haven continued its momentum into halftime, outscoring D&E 22–15 in the second period.
Marion and Madison Mims led the Senators with eight points each. Marion shot 4 of 10 from the floor, while Mims added three rebounds and knocked down one of D&E's four 3-pointers. Koi Shabazz finished with six points and four rebounds, and Kylie Morris contributed seven points and three rebounds. The Senators' bench added 17 points, paced by Mims and Sydney Prince.
Despite a competitive third quarter that saw D&E earn 12 trips to the free-throw line, Lock Haven controlled the paint and the glass, finishing with a 52–21 rebounding advantage and 50 points inside.
Davis & Elkins will continue its stretch of road contests at the Tampa Thanksgiving Classic. The Senators face host Tampa on Friday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. in Tampa, Florida.
