CALIFORNIA, Pa. -- Davis & Elkins fell in a men's dual meet to Frostburg State Saturday afternoon, while the D&E women fell in a double-dual to Frostburg and PennWest, California.
The D&E team of
Savannah Foley,
Shelbey Fuller,
Julianne Hobson, and
Becca Rodrigues won the first event of the meet. The foursome swam to a time of 1:57.00 in the 200 medley relay to take the win.
Hobson took another win in the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:04.20.
Enrique Garcia picked up a win for the D&E men in the 200 individual medley when he touched the wall in 2:03.32.
Payton Williamson and
Geoff Dixon added a one-two finish in the 200 backstroke. The duo finished with times of 2:02.54 and 2:04.00, respectively.
Fuller then picked up a win in the 200 breaststroke by nearly six seconds when she touched in 2:33.91.
Edwin Li followed up Fuller's performance by winning the men's 200 breaststroke by eight and one-half seconds when he finished in a time of 2:09.86.
Additional top finishes for the Senators included
Jakob Knoblauch finishing second in both the 200 freestyle (1:51.33) and 200 butterfly (2:08.01) and third in the 500 freestyle (5:07.94),
Jose Robles finishing second in the 50 freestyle (22.78) and third in the 100 freestyle (51.14), Rodrigues finishing second in the 200 individual medley (2:22.30), Hobson finishing second in the 200 butterfly (2:20.23),
Bryanna Gollmer finishing third in the 1000 freestyle, Williamson finishing third in the 1000 freestyle (10:50.62) and 200 butterfly (2:08.72), Garcia finishing third in the 200 breaststroke (2:19.31)

The Senators compete next in the Malone Duals against Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponents Hillsdale and Malone. The November 4th meet will be hosted by Malone in Canton, Ohio and will begin at 1pm.
