ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College baseball team will close out their 2022 season Sunday afternoon in Buckhannon, W.Va.  D&E will take on the Bobcats in a Mountain East Conference doubleheader. 

The two teams met on Thursday with the Senators taking both games.  D&E took game one 2-0 and followed that up with a 6-5 walk off win in game two.

Chase DeGrood leads the team in hits with 30.  Cole Hitch has team highs in runs batted in with 15 and extra base hits 11.  Pitcher McKinley Scott has struck out 48 in 49 innings of work.

First pitch for game one is scheduled for 1:00pm at Hank Ellis Field.
