WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - Davis & Elkins College finished fourth at the 2021 Mountain East Conference (MEC) Wrestling Championships.
John Finnerty won the conference crown at 157 pounds, while
Craig Cook and
Kyle Wojtaszek finished as runners-up on Saturday in a busy day at West Liberty's ASRC.
West Liberty earned the team title as the host school.
Noah Tarr also placed third for D&E at 165 pounds as D&E concluded its second conference championship in program history. Finnerty became the first conference champion in program history for D&E, working into position for a fall in the second. In total, five Senators placed inside the top four.
