ELKINS, W.Va. - Davis & Elkins will open the 2021 wrestling season at home with a conference tri-match against Fairmont State and Wheeling beginning at noon from the McDonnell Center. No spectators will be permitted, but the event will be streamed live on the MEC Digital Network.
The event features three young programs in the league and head coach
Jerry Boland continues to raise the expectations for year two. The Senators, picked fourth in the MEC Preseason Poll, welcome back three wrestlers that qualified for last year's NCAA Nationals in
Craig Cook,
Noah Tarr and
Kyle Wojtaszek.
Davis & Elkins will open the tri-match with a dual against Wheeling before Wheeling and Fairmont State square off. The final dual of the afternoon pits Davis & Elkins against Fairmont State.
