DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES
- D&E is 2-0 on the dual season after a season-opening tri-match win against Fairmont State and Wheeling. After Sunday, the Senators have just one more dual match left, coming on February 17 against Alderson Broaddus.
- The Senators feature a balanced lineup this season with four wrestlers tied for the team lead in wins (5). Kyle Wojtazek and John Finnerty have picked up bonus points throughout the season with 22 team points each, while Vincent Scollo and Nick Ammirati have five wins and 21 team points.
- Not far behind are national qualifiers Noah Tarr and Craig Cook, each with four victories this season. Cook has moved up in weight from his 133-pound slot last season, providing a unique challenge against a different crop of opponents.
- Nine of the Senators' 40 total wins this season have come by fall.
- Sunday marks the final event before the MEC Championships on February 6.
