ELKINS, W.Va. - Davis & Elkins wrestling will take part in its second event of the 2021 season, hitting the road for the first time to face Wheeling, Notre Dame (Ohio) and Alderson Broaddus for a Mountain East Conference (MEC) quad match on Friday, January 15.
The Senators are fresh off a pair of dual wins to open the season, coming against Wheeling and Fairmont State at home.

DAVIS & ELKINS NOTES
- D&E scored a 46-6 win against Wheeling and a 34-17 victory against Fairmont State last weekend.
- Kyle Wojtaszek led the charge for the Senators, earning a major decision and fall to pick up bonus points in each of his two bouts. Noah Tarr added two victories as well, coming via decision and fall.
- Nick Ammirati and Eian Harper each picked up two wins via forfeit last weekend, but should each get the chance to compete this weekend. The duo wrestled in exhibition action in Elkins, with Ammirati gutting out a 4-3 decision victory.
- Vincent Scollo and John Finnerty also notched wins for the Senators in last weekend's tri-match. Scollo knocked off Chase Montgomery by decision (11-4) and Finnerty nabbed a major decision against Alex Jablonski (10-1).
- The Senators are back home on January 23, welcoming a loaded field of West Liberty, UNC Pembroke and Notre Dame (Ohio) to the McDonnell Center for an MEC quad in Elkins.
