Laura Vargas won in both singles and doubles as Walsh defeated Davis & Elkins 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon at Lakewood High School. Vargas teamed with
Rosalie Naber for an impressive 6-1 victory at #2 doubles, and then rallied from a tight first set loss to win at #3 singles 6-7 (5), 6-3, 10-7.
Taylour Newman rallied from a 5-2 deficit in the second set to fall close at #1 singles, 6-3, 7-5.
Ester Bolmenas played a tight match at #2 singles in a 7-5, 6-3 loss.
