PHILIPPI, W. Va — The impressive start to Davis & Elkins' inaugural wrestling season continues, winning their first team title in program history at Saturday's Battler Royale. Four Senators took home individual titles, giving D&E a 6.5 point edge over host Alderson Broaddus. Craig Cook (133 lbs.), CJ Thompson (149 lbs.), John Finnerty (157 lbs.), and Noah Tarr (165 lbs.), were the title-winners for the Senators, while four more D&E wrestlers finished as runners-up in their weight classes. Cook pinned his way through his three victories, while Finnerty won five matches en route to his title.
