SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio --
The Davis & Elkins College Women's Swimming team opened up their season with a narrow 99-94 victory over new MEC foe Notre Dame College on Friday.
Senior
Jaime Boulier led the way for the Senators with two wins on the night, winning the 200 IM in 2:24.93, and the 200 Backstroke (2:22.79).
Kaila Howell was the winner in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:49.67, her first career event win in her sophomore campaign.
Freshmen
Casey Hayford and
Jana Hummel completed a 1-2 finish in the 50 Freestyle, with times of 26.26 and 27.35 respectively, earning 13 of the 14 points for the Senators in that event. Hayford would also add a runner-up finish in the 100 Freestyle (57.58).
The Senators will open up their home schedule at Myles Pool on Friday, October 18th against Urbana.
