BUCKHANNON, W.Va - The Davis & Elkins College Senators Men's Swim Team fell to West Virginia Wesleyan 150-112 this afternoon.
Sam Windham picked up three wins for the Senators, winning the 1000-yard Freestyle with a time of 10:26.49, the 100-yard Butterfly (55.06), and 200-yard Butterfly (2:06.80).
Pedro Gaspar had two wins on the day, winning the 500-yard Freestyle (5:01.84), and 200-yard IM (2:02.52), as well as a 2nd place finish in the 200-yard Freestyle event (1:47.74).
Ricard Castan finished the day with the other win for the Senators, winning the 200-yard Backstroke with a time of 2:03.51. Castan also finished second in the 100-yard Backstroke (56.19), and 500 Free (5:11.44).
Aaron Strynar and Kamran Spells also had runner-up finishes, with Strynar coming in second in the 200 Back (2:04.97), and Spells in the 100-yard Breaststroke at 1:04.13.
The Senators will return to the pool on Saturday, January 19th against Salem for their Senior Day, with the meet beginning at 1 PM in the Myles Pool.
