PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Davis & Elkins College wrapped up its appearance at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championships on Wednesday with an 18th-place finish after the final round of stroke play at PGA National Resort's Champions Course.
The Senators posted a team score of 295 in Round 3, their lowest of the tournament, finishing at 899 (+39) across three days of play. The top eight teams at +11 or better advanced to match play.
Aidan Talent and Elias Jarn paced D&E in the final round with matching 1-over-par 73s. Talent finished at +4 for the tournament, while Jarn closed at +5. Lucio Pavicich added a 76 (+4), Zak Collins carded a 78 (+6), and Isaac Gregson rounded out the scoring with an 87 (+15).
It marks another strong national showing for the Senators, who qualified for the NCAA Championships once again after capturing the Atlantic/East Regional title earlier this month.
