INDIANA, Pa. — The Davis & Elkins College men's golf team posted a fourth-place team finish at the Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational, hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania at Indiana Country Club. The Senators carded a two-round team total of 617 (+49) across Monday and Tuesday's rounds.
Aidan Talent and Elias Jarn led the way for D&E, each tying for 4th individually at 150 (+8). Talent was steady over both days with matching rounds of 75, while Jarn rebounded from a 78 in the opening round to shoot a 1-over-par 72 on Tuesday, the lowest round by a Senator during the tournament.
Zak Collins followed closely behind in a tie for 25th with a two-day total of 157 (+15). He carded rounds of 79 and 78, improving his play on the back nine in round two.
Lucio Pavicich posted rounds of 81 and 79 to finish tied for 41st at 160 (+18), while Isaac Gregson rounded out the D&E lineup in 67th place at 167 (+25) with rounds of 84 and 83.
The tournament was contested over 36 holes on the 6,574-yard, par-71 layout.
