Winter Garden, Fl. -- Matin Eisa represented Davis & Elkins by competing in the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship as an individual at the Orange County National Golf Center. Matin finished T95 after rounds of 72-76-78 (+13) to cap a stellar career for the Senators.

The highlight of the tournament was round one that saw Matin shoot a round of 72 (+1) that included three birdies on the day and put him in a tie for 45th.

"While I wanted to be at nationals with the team, I was still very pleased to have qualified for the D2 National Championship as an individual. It was an amazing experience and a fun way to end my four years at D&E, even though I didn't play my best golf. This week with my family and Coach Smith by my side will be one to always look back on for years to come." said Eisa.

"It was great to represent D&E on the national stage for the fourth year in a row. Making it to Orlando with it being a festival year was extra special. Matin had a great season and I super proud of him and his accomplishments." Patrick Smith had to say regarding Matin's accomplishments.
