Wheeling, W.Va. -- The Senators competed well at the MEC Spring Championship as they finished tied for third in the team standings. Senator freshman,
Elias Jarn, earned First Team All-MEC honors.
The Senators started off the tournament strong shooting a team score of -1 in Round 1 to lead the team standings by a shot over Glenville State. Jarn was in third place in the individual standing after shooting a round of -3 and
Matthew Crookes was in fifth place with a round of -2.
Day two wouldn't be as good for the Senators as they shot +9 on the day and finished tied for third for the tournament. Crookes led the way for the Senators on day two with a round of even par to finish tied for eighth overall in the final individual standings.
