MONROE, N.C.-- Davis & Elkins finished the Hargett Memorial Invitational in eighth place with a three-round total of 898 (+34).
Jordan Hyland and
Matin Eisa both finished tied for tenth in a field of 96 players for a three-day total of 218 and two over par.
Lewis Beeden finished forty-second with a total of 228.
Evan Lewis finished tied for sixty-second with a total of 234, while teammate
Sean Addie finished tied for seventy-fourth with a total of 238.
Jack Harlen-Robertson competed as an individual in the tournament and finished tied for sixty-second with a total of 234.
The team finished eighth out of sixteen teams in a strong field with three teams ranked inside the top fifty in the country. Grand Valley State, the tournament champions are ranked ninth in the country, while Shorter (34) finished third, and Flagler (44) finished tied for fifth.
The Senators are in action next at the Mountain East Conference Spring Tournament March 27-28 in Charleston, W.Va.
