ELKINS, W.Va. -- The Davis & Elkins men's golf team heads to Berry Hills Country Club in Charleston, West Virginia to compete in the Mountain East Conference Spring Classic this Monday and Tuesday. Coach Alasdair Forsythe's men's team looks to use their early season reps in North Carolina to their advantage, as conference rivals West Liberty and Charleston make their first start of the 2022 spring campaign.

In the opening two events of the spring season, captain Jordan Hyland and freshman Sean McAufield led the team.  Hyland tied for 9th in Pinehurst, then finished tied for 14th at Wingate, with a scoring average of 73.6 over five rounds.  McAufield has had a stellar start, finishing tied with Hyland for ninth in the spring opener.  McAufield then had a team best finish carding three over par at Wingate to finish tied for 12th.

The starting five for this week will be Jordan Hyland, Sean McAufield, Evan Lewis, Jack Harlen-Robertson, and Sean Addie.
