EVENT NOTES
- Davis & Elkins was one of three MEC schools to nab a top-three finish at the event on Tuesday.
- Hyland was consistent throughout both rounds, carding identical scores of 74 to finish in a tie for first. He finished in a tie for first with Charleston's Mitch Hoffman before winning the playoff to capture the individual title outright.
- Hyland, an all-region selection last season, picked up the first tournament win of the 2021 spring campaign.
- Lewis and Smith posted a second-round 77, marking an improvement of multiple shots from the first round.
