PREVIEW: Challenge Awaits D&E Men’s Hoop in Stretch Run of Regular Season

THE OPENING TIP 
Davis & Elkins men's basketball is set for three more contests as part of a four-game stretch to conclude the regular season. The Senators host Senior Night in the team's home finale Wednesday night before facing Alderson Broaddus on Thursday and West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday.
 
The Senators fell to #22 West Liberty, 77-59, on Monday night inside the McDonnell Center. Davis & Elkins enters the final stretch of the season fifth in the MEC South Division, and will likely play in the four/five play-in matchup. Full announcements and tournament brackets will be provided as that information becomes available.  
 
Breland Walton, who leads the team in scoring, had 16 points and nine boards last time out against the Hilltoppers. Sam Rolle IV paces the team with 81 assists as the team's primary point guard, while Gyasi Powell is averaging 15.8 points/game entering the end of the regular season.
