WEIRTON, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College Men's Golf team finished fourth overall in the Williams Golf and Country Club Collegiate Invitational on Saturday.
The Senators finished at +18 for the one-day event, 10 behind the winners and hosts of West Liberty, but just three shots behind second place.
Jack Gibson led the way for the Senators, finishing in a tie for 4
th with a +2 round of 74.
Patrick Smith and
Ben Marshall tied for 10
th with rounds of 76.
Toby Gibbons rounded out the scoring for the Senators with a +8 round of 80 to finish in 23
rd.
The Senators will return to action on October 14-15 at the California University of Pennsylvania hosted Vulcan Invitational.
