ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio – Davis & Elkins men's golf wrapped up play Friday at the Wheeling Fall Invitational, finishing 15th overall at Belmont Hills Country Club.
The Senators closed with a team score of 625 (+56) across two rounds. California (Pa.) captured the team title at +6, followed by IUP and Bluefield State tied for second at +11.
Day One
Davis & Elkins opened Thursday's first round in 13th place with a 309 (+25). Lucio Pavicich paced the Senators with a 75 (+4), tying for 31st after 18 holes. Leonardo Turra followed with a 76 (+5), while Luke Grilliot posted a 78 (+7). Thomas Davies carded an 80 (+9) and Dillon Dunz added an 82 (+11) to round out the opening score.
Day Two
Turra led the way on Friday with a 77 (+6), finishing tied for 47th at 153 (+11). Grilliot and Pavicich each closed with rounds of 77 (+6) and 80 (+9), respectively, tying for 53rd at 155 (+13). Dunz recorded an 81 (+10) to finish at 163 (+21), while Davies shot an 88 (+17) to end at 168 (+26).
