WHEELING, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins women's golf earned its first team title of the season at the West Liberty Spring Invitational, powered by another individual title from Marina Saviceva-Noti.

Fresh off her recent win at the Pipestem Invitational, Saviceva-Noti carded an 80 (+9) on the Jones Course at Oglebay Resort to take medalist honors and lead the Senators to a commanding 41-stroke victory over second-place Wheeling.

Playing through injury, Gadea Melgarejo tied for fourth individually with a 91 (+20), while Grace Bronkella posted a sixth-place finish with a 93 (+22). Alexis Herndon rounded out the scoring for D&E.

The win caps off a strong showing for the Senators, who topped a field that included Wheeling, West Virginia Wesleyan, and Point Park.
