Charlotte, NC -- The D&E Men's team opened up spring play with a 5-2 victory over host Johnson C Smith University Friday afternoon. 
 
The Senators swept the doubles point behind wins from Duarte Correia and Sean Maphosa at #1 and Kyle Hawthorne and Julian Tamburini at #2. 
 
Hawthorne and Filippo Buffo added singles points for the Senators, who are now 2-0 on the year.
