Sam Rolle Reaches 2,000 Career Points

ELKINS, W.Va. — Davis & Elkins College senior guard Sam Rolle IV etched his name further into the Senators' record books on November 13, becoming the third player in program history to surpass 2,000 career points during the team's loss at Gannon University. Rolle now stands at 2,011 career points in 106 games, solidifying his legacy as one of the most prolific scorers in D&E basketball history.

The achievement adds another accolade to an illustrious career spanning five seasons (2020–25), marked by his consistent scoring, leadership, and defensive prowess.

In addition to ranking third all-time in scoring, Rolle's statistical achievements include:

  • 691 field goals made (2nd all-time)
  • 161 three-point field goals made (9th all-time)
  • 468 free throws made (2nd all-time)
  • 200 steals (3rd all-time)

Rolle has been a key contributor since his freshman season, earning multiple conference and regional accolades throughout his career. His combination of scoring and playmaking has helped propel the Senators to numerous victories, solidifying their reputation as a competitive team in the region.

With the season still underway, Rolle will have the opportunity to further climb the program's record books and lead the Senators in their quest for a conference championship.
