ELKINS, W.Va. -- A week after entering the top ten in the Division II College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) Men's Basketball Atlantic Region Poll, Davis & Elkins finds itself climbing up the poll to the #6 spot.
After last week's poll was released, that saw D&E in the #10 spot, the Senators played host to Fairmont State (then #2) and downed the Falcons 77-70 on Tuesday night. Both squads are now 4-1 overall, while D&E remains unbeaten (2-0) in the Mountain East Conference. Fairmont State fell to 5
th with 32 points, just ahead of D&E in 6
th with 27 points.
The MEC's West Liberty leads the poll with 60 points and 6 first-place points. Concord checks in at #7 (24 pts.) and Charleston is 8
th (17 pts.).
D&E is on the road this evening (Nov. 27) for a 6pm out-of-conference matchup with Seton Hill. They play at Wheeling on Wednesday, November 29 at 7:30pm and then are back home again on Saturday, December 2 for a 4pm tip with West Liberty.
