The Senator Men's tennis team had a strong showing at the Bloomsburg Invitational this past weekend.
Viktor Yanev went 2-0 at the #1 singles spot defeating Division 1 St. Francis to advance.
Taiki Umeda went 1-1 at #2,
Anthony Martins had two tough matches. Freshman
Filippo Buffo got his first collegiate singles win at the #4 position this weekend going 1-1.
Vinicius Azeredo finished 1-1 at the #5 spot.
Julian Tamburini shined as the only player who went undefeated in both singles and doubles action at the tournament. Tamburini was 4-0 combined.
Kyle Hawthorne went 1-1 with a big win over West Liberty at the #6 spot as well.
In Doubles, all of the Senators had positive matches and worked hard, the team of Tamburini and Umeda went undefeated at #2.
