ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College softball team has a busy weekend of Mountain East Conference action as they host West Virginia State University and the University of Charleston.  D&E was scheduled to play West Virginia Wesleyan today but field conditions meant the game had to be postponed.

First up is West Virginia State on Saturday, April 23 at 1 pm and 3 pm.  In the Senators first doubleheader with the Yellow Jackets this season, they split in Institute, West Virginia on April 11. WVSU comes into the weekend 17-19 overall, while holding a 14-10 record in the MEC.  The Yellow Jackets were swept by Charleston in their last outing.

Sunday sees the University of Charleston travel to Joni Smith Field for a doubleheader, game one is scheduled for 1 pm, and game two follows at 3 pm.  D&E also split with UC this season winning game two 1-0 after a homer from Linzey Allard. Charleston heads to Elkins carrying an impressive record of 24-16 overall and 16-8 in the conference. They will play WV Wesleyan on Saturday before facing your D&E Senators on Sunday.
