ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College softball team is on the road this Monday and Tuesday.  D&E will face off against West Virginia State University in a doubleheader in Institute on Monday afternoon, Tuesday they will take on the University of Charleston.  Coach Elle Fracker's team looks to continue their strong form as of late.

The Senators are coming into this weekend's schedule on a good run, winning nine of their last ten games, they have had three conference sweeps in the last two weeks. This run has brought their season record up to 13-18 and their conference record to 9-3.

Monday's action begins at 2pm against a strong WV State team. The Yellow Jackets are 14-12 on their season and an impressive 11-3 in the Mountain East Conference.  State is coming off two straight losses to UC.

The first pitch on Tuesday is scheduled for 2pm. The Golden Eagles are 18-12 on their 2022 campaign and 10-4 in the conference.  Charleston comes into the games winning a doubleheader against the Senators opponent on Tuesday, West Virginia State University on Wednesday April 6.
